WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Founded by a Vietnam veteran, HelpOregonVeterans.org does one thing. We provide overnight shelter for veterans that might otherwise have to sleep on the street.

We are a charitable organization dedicated to helping struggling veterans with emergency shelter.

Nearly 14,000 Homeless live in Oregon. Of these, approximately 10% are veterans.  Our aim is to be the first step on the road back to the life of dignity that our Brothers and Sisters in arms deserve.

HOW WE HELP

We do one thing: provide overnight shelter.

HOUSING THE HOMELESS

The City of Salem currently has over 1,500 homeless, and spends nearly $70,000 per week to provide shelter... for 123 people... for a week.

We know we can do better. Real progress starts here.

Our goal is to simply put a roof over our heroes' heads. Please join us in our endeavor to help those who put it all on the line for our way of life. As we see it, it's time to return the favor.
